Portraits from Turkey

Portraits, I love them. They never fail to grab my attention.
Behind every face is a fascinating story no matter how dull the surface is.
I love the eyes.
Aren't eyes the windows to a person's soul?
They seem to complete the expression on the face.

Sometimes, portraits capture me, not the other way round.

Weaving carpets might not be high up on the social pyramid, yet she is happy. Beats frowning professionals?
Keeping the streets clean no matter what
